Excellent service
My experience was great. I had been to Dr. Dietzek almost 10 years ago. I would highly recommend him to clear up any unsightly veins.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Even though I began this healing journey with Dr. Dietzek and Erika, I now have Dr. Fakhoury doing everything he can, to help this wound go away. Never, in the past 21+ years with this wound, has any doctor or hospital, taken as much time to get to the route of the problem, like Vein and Vascular Institute has!Always a wonderful experience with this office!
A quick professional visit with time spent explaining details ,a good experience!!
Very friendly, professional and great office staff. 5 stars for sure. So happy how my procedures are going. I had some tough veins I’ve let go for over 30 yrs. I highly recommend them. Erika is awesome made me feel so comfortable. Can’t wait to see my final results when I’m finished with this process. 💕
Erica and Dr Dietzek explain everything really well. Very polite and professional!

This has to be the best experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office. You really are cared for and not just another patient.
Everyone was so nice and very informative. All of my questions were answered. Dr. Fakhoury made me feel comfortable & took the extra time and steps to ensure the procedure I need done could be completed safely.
Very thorough and explained everything fully.
Nurse practitioner was thorough and informative. She explained what was going on with my legs and I have a better understanding of what to do next.

Everyone was very helpful, kind and friendly
Excellent staff! Highly recommended!
Appointment was made promptly everyone I spoke to on the phone and in their office were wonderful and very helpful.
I was examined by Dr. Elias Fakhoury, who performed a GSV Clarivein Venous Closure procedure on my right lower leg last year due to Venous Insufficiency. Dr. Fakhoury will perform a Venous Closure procedure on my left lower leg in the very near future. During this visit a thorough Ultrasound of both legs was performed. A detailed medical history was performed by Alyssia, and Dr. Fakhoury examined both of my legs, as well as to explain the Venous Closure procedure he will perform on my left leg. Everyone, from the front office staff to the Ultrasound specialist, to Alyssia, to Dr. Fakhoury were extremely pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable about my leg condition. I look forward to another successful Venous Closure performed by Dr. Fakhoury.
The staff was kind and professional. The only part I say I had a problem with is not being informed I should have purchased compression stockings instead I was recommended to purchase them at an additional $60. Which I could have purchased from Amazon for a fraction of the price. I actually believe they should be incorporated in the amount of procedure. Other than that The NPC was fantastic.. 🤞🏼 I’m hoping I will heal great..
Great staff and Doctors.
Staff is very friendly, helpful and willing to answer questions. Appointments move quickly with little wait/downtime. Would strongly encourage family and friends to see them.

Dr. Dietzek is easy to talk to and explains everything in a way that I can understand. The entire office staff is friendly and welcoming. I was really nervous when I got there (I'm always nervous at the doctor's) but I feel better going back for future appointments.
Quick in and out. Very professional, clearly explaining. Would recommend.
Very informative consultation. I feel very positive moving forward with my vein treatment plan.
The staff was really nice and the doctor we're very sympathetic to my recent loss of my son. There wasn't too long of a wait which was nice

I have been a patient of Dr. Dietzeck since 2009. I was ASTOUNDED how my spider veins disappeared after my treatment. I go back every couple years to maintain my result because of my occupation as a hair stylist I am on my feet for long periods. The staff is very informative and patient explaining your at home instructions. I have recommended him to many of my clients and friends and they all were very pleased. Dr. Dietzeck’s office is unique and professional you can feel the difference as soon as you walk in!

Had a very pleasant experience here. Everyone was very friendly and professional. My appointment was late in the day on a Friday which is odd for any doctor’s office and none of the staff acted frustrated or anxious to leave. It was amazing. The office has a really good staff, as everyone is professional and friendly. The doctor has done a great job on my legs, as-a lot of the veins are gone. I’m so amazed of how much better my legs look! I can finally wear shorts and not worry about my legs! It’s a liberating feeling.Thank you all so much!! I’m so pleased with the results. ❤️
Professional, friendly, so helpful. Saw me very quickly after a horrible experience at Jefferson Vascular. Very clean office, incredibly efficient. Can’t say enough positive things. And the doctor and technician were top notch.
They performed a thorough ultrasound of my legs and feet. They listen to my concerns and problems I'm having. Then Dr dietzik offered a course of treatment that I think will be effective. So I'm very happy with my visit.
Both Dr. Dietzek and his staff were very efficient and professional. It was a pleasure to work with such a pleasant and knowledgeable staff!

Serious Complications if Left Untreated...

Did you know that varicose veins may be more than a cosmetic issue? If left untreated, varicose veins may lead to more serious complications such as:

  • Infections: Venous diseases can also cause leg ulcers. An ulcer is a break in the skin, which is dangerous due to exposure to bacteria and infection.
  • Pain: Varicose veins affect the flow of blood through the veins, oxygen that is carried through the blood does not reach the proper areas, leading to muscle cramps & pain near the site of the vein.
  • Bleeding: Since varicose veins are usually inflamed, they often press up against the skin, leaving them more susceptible to cuts.
  • Swelling: When blood isn’t pumping out of the legs properly due to damaged valves within the vein walls, blood begins to collect.
  • Blood Clots: Should a clot detach and enter the bloodstream, it can lead to life-threatening conditions such as thrombophlebitis or deep vein thrombosis.

While varicose veins may pose serious risks, the good news is that varicose veins can be eliminated with minimally invasive treatments covered by insurance. However, it’s essential to seek treatment immediately to minimize potential complications.

FAQs

In your leg, you have two sets of veins. They are called deep veins and superficial veins.

Deep veins are in the deeper part of the leg where the muscles are, and superficial veins are right under the skin.

In a normal person, the blood would circulate from the feet towards the heart in both sets of veins.

When someone has a venous insufficiency the blood will actually go up the deep veins and then go backwards into the superficial vein.

The blood will start pooling in the superficial veins.

Since the superficial veins are closest to the skin, they will start to bulge and create varicose veins. They are often bluish or purple in color.

Spider Veins are essentially a smaller version of varicose veins. They are red, purple, and blue vessels that are also twisted and turning. They are most often seen on the legs, chest, or face.

No. Varicose veins can occur deeper in the leg, where one can’t see them. Varicose veins are classified under the spectrum of venous insufficiency disease.

Venous insufficiency disease causes leg discomfort, swelling of the ankles and leg, itching, and weariness. Other signs and symptoms may be prickling, cramping, aching, and heaviness of the lower limbs after prolonged standing.

Keep an eye out for these symptoms besides simply visible veins.

In short, no. Exercise and compression stockings may help reduce some of the symptoms of varicose veins, but usually only medical treatment can effectively get rid of a varicose vein.

Progression of varicose veins can be dangerous as they may later become venous ulcerations. When left without treatment, complications may ensure including rashes, infections, bleeding, sores, and blood clots.

In rare cases, varicose veins can cause deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism which is life-threatening.
